2000 tourists attend Eagle Festival

Bayan-Ulgii /MONTSAME/ Bayan-Ulgii aimag’s Governor’s Office and Environment and Tourism Department jointly with Mongolian Eagle Hunter’s Association organized the Eagle Festival at Sayat Tolgoi in Bugat soum, Bayan-Ulgii aimag on October 5-6.

WHITE STUPA /TSAGAAN SUVARGA/

It is located in Ulziit village, Dundgobi province. The name Tsagaan Suvraga (White Stupa) is 50 m high and continues 400 m. It was formed approximately 10 million years ago and it indicates the different time: whitish, gray, yellowish and purple. Because it proves it was the sea many millions years ago. Today, local people are very interesting on the strange formation of this cliff.

KHUVSGUL LAKE
Khuvsgul was established in 1931. It is famous for tourist top attractions. It covers 103 sq.km. Murun is a capital of Khuvsgul. It is located 1283 m high above sea level and Murun is 692 km far away from Ulaanbaatar. To the north, Khuvsgul aimag borders with Russian federation. It is place with good infrastructure. In summer, Khuvsgul is full of tourists. They have some ethnic groups and Darkhad is main ethnic. Highest peak is Delgerkhan mountain which is 3491 m high above sea level. The average altitude is 1650-2050 m above sea level.

Vertical Entertainment has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to “Burn Your Maps,” an adventure drama starring Jacob Tremblay, Vera Farmiga and Virginia Madsen, the company announced Wednesday.
Vertical Entertainment is planning a Q2 theatrical release for the film, and Warner Bros. Pictures will handle international distribution.
